The intention for the workshop is to bring a physically engaging and creative handwork opportunity, while also holding space for inspirations that arise throughout the conference. Using pre-foraged materials, we’ll create natural cordage (twine) to weave into individual baskets. Alongside weaving baskets is a space for conversations to weave together the idea of work and prayer, and what it can look like to align ourselves with a body of work that resonates so deeply in us that it becomes our prayer for the world. Participants are encouraged to share where they feel called to implement change, how the experience of feeling called to work shows up in them, and any other impulses that present themselves. In a gathering of conversation supporting hope for the health of our global community, we’re creating vessels to hold visions of change.
